> Geek Your Teaching | The Creative Challenge
The growing interest in web-based learning tools is amazing.
Creativity – It's Our Future
How is Technology Transforming Education? | Sir Ken Robinson
I challenge you to think creatively about how you might utilize different tools presented to create and deliver content, and to encourage your students to utilize tools for assignments and presentations.
More educators are seeking new tools and technologies to help them innovate in the creation and presentation of course material, and to explore alternative methods of communicating with students in and out of the classroom.
With the increase of educators interested in using web-based tools, and students networking and utilizing online tools, the demand for easier and more efficient ways of teaching and learning is on the rise and evolving literally every day.
Because Web 2.0 tools are more accessible, affordable, and have a shorter learning curve they are democratizing the creation and delivery of content.
For this site I've researched and consolidated some of the most helpful and creative online tools that empower faculty, students, and administrators alike. All of the tools introduced I have used in my classes to present course material, or have introduced my students to in project-based learning assignments.
Whenever possible, I've included links to student or class projects created using individual Web 2.0 tools featured on this site.
